For Buyers
What does Made in Ukraine do?
We help international buyers discover and connect with suitable Ukrainian manufacturers. This may include identifying suppliers, gathering initial information, discussing buyer requirements and introducing both parties.
Who can use your sourcing service?
We work with hotels, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, corporate buyers, hospitality groups and brands seeking products or manufacturing partners.
What types of products can you source?
Our focus includes hotel products, textiles, clothing, packaging, gifts, stationery, food and drink, home and lifestyle products, corporate merchandise and private-label manufacturing.
Can you source a product that is not listed on the website?
Yes. Send us a clear description of what you require. We can assess whether a suitable manufacturer may be available within Ukraine.
Do you guarantee that a suitable supplier will be found?
No. We cannot guarantee that every requirement can be matched. Suitability depends on product specifications, order quantity, pricing, capacity, certifications and delivery expectations.
Do buyers deal directly with the manufacturer?
The final commercial arrangement will depend on the opportunity. Our aim is to create clear, professional introductions and help both sides establish an appropriate working relationship.
For Manufacturers
Who can apply to join the Manufacturer Network?
Ukrainian manufacturers with strong products, reliable production, clear pricing and the ability or potential to supply international buyers are welcome to apply.
Can small manufacturers apply?
Yes. Size alone is not the deciding factor. Buyers may value specialist skills, distinctive products, flexible production or lower minimum order quantities.
Do I need previous export experience?
Previous export experience is helpful but not always essential. You should still be able to communicate clearly, prepare commercial information and understand the standards expected by international buyers.
What information should manufacturers provide?
Please prepare:
- A company profile
- A product catalogue with clear photographs
- Wholesale or export pricing
- Minimum order quantities
- Production lead times and capacity
- Relevant certifications and test reports
- Private-label or custom manufacturing options
Does joining the network guarantee orders?
No. Joining the network does not guarantee orders. Opportunities depend on buyer demand, product suitability, pricing, communication and the manufacturer's ability to meet the requirement.
Does it cost to apply?
Contact us for the current onboarding and partnership terms. Any commercial arrangements should be explained clearly before work begins.
Orders, Pricing & Samples
How are prices calculated?
Pricing normally depends on the product specification, quantity, materials, packaging, branding, certification, delivery terms and production lead time.
What is a minimum order quantity?
A minimum order quantity, often called an MOQ, is the smallest quantity a manufacturer is prepared to produce or sell at one time. It varies by product and manufacturer.
Can buyers request samples?
In many cases, yes. Sample availability, pricing and shipping arrangements will depend on the manufacturer and the product.
Can products be made under our own brand?
Many manufacturers may offer private-label production, custom packaging, different colours, altered dimensions or bespoke product development.
Are payment terms the same for every order?
No. Payment terms should be agreed for each transaction and may depend on order value, production stage, commercial history and the manufacturer's own requirements.
Logistics, Quality & Compliance
Who arranges shipping?
Shipping arrangements will depend on the agreed delivery terms. The buyer, manufacturer, freight partner or another appointed party may arrange collection and delivery.
Who is responsible for customs and import requirements?
Customs, import duties, product compliance and documentation must be clarified before an order is confirmed. Buyers should take appropriate professional advice for their market and product.
Do all manufacturers have the same certifications?
No. Certifications vary by manufacturer and product category. Buyers should specify any mandatory standards, tests or documents at the beginning of the enquiry.
How is product quality checked?
Quality requirements should be agreed through specifications, samples, documentation and, where appropriate, independent inspection or testing before shipment.
How long does the sourcing process take?
Timescales vary. A straightforward existing product may move quickly, while private-label or bespoke products may require sampling, testing, design and several rounds of approval.
Clear communication from the beginning.
We do not promise that every enquiry will become an order. The aim is to identify genuine opportunities with the potential to work.
Pricing, specifications, lead times, certifications and responsibilities should be understood before production begins.
We want to help create repeat business and sustainable trade rather than one-off introductions with no lasting value.
